Jeanette has just had to complete a witness statement with the police following up from the recovered Mito. It seems they managed to get a DNA match from it and have caught the burgling scumbag!!!!!

No sign of my car but some satisfaction in knowing he is caught at least. The police wanted to know if his name was known to us! I shall not put it on here for obvious reasons

aw newton im glad he has been caught the scumbag

Evening all

Gonna loose my licence in my new company car as it's quite swift and I also discovered it's drifting ability too, with much tyre squealing - work can be fun sometimes!!

Morning all, Happy Birthday Tess

US getting involved with Middle East politics surely not???? Given that they have found oil off Cyprus, I guess it is likely to extend into Turkish waters too but no they wouldn't would they?

Keeping my head down here, got plenty of things to get on with in the garage including removing the 415 motor off the post lift so I can get it matched with 230/415v tree phase equivalent and I can get the thing properly commissioned. Got some parts to weld up and repair on some outdoor gym equipment; very old Chinese item so that'll be fun!

Fella that rented a pair of garages next to us got served a notice to leave two weeks ago and last weekend was all enthusiastically emptying engines and loads of valuable items out. Yesterday evening I notice he has simply taken his locks and left both full to the rafters with cr@p, oh joy I wonder how much of that will get chucked out in the alley before it is resolved.

Have fun all...

PITA
EB spares do sell them: http://ebspares.co.uk/alfa156/cooling_alfa156.cfm but please, please say you have a 2.5 not a 3.2 (£38 against £98)

I had a difficulty making up rad hose when fitting a new radiator to my car (Alfa 1750 engine: mini radiator*) I couldn't buy a single piece but had to make up the parts using a couple of adaptors / straights / bends etc - I searched on e-bay for 'silicone hoses'. It 'might' be cheaper to go this route?

* mini rad - needed because of size limitations

It is that Nik. Afternoon all, day off tomorrow, MOT for the Opel GT if I can get it running well.

Insurance £72 and no road tax, rude not to!
