    Forza 288

I bought my 308 from an auction but found out it was entered by David from Forza 288, when I had it for sale at Beaulieu automart he came up for a chat, nice guy, the car was auctioned to me with a few issues but it was an auction car and not retail, certainly wouldn't hold it against him. From...

Hi Paul, Apologies for not replying I've been off-piste from the forum working my behind off and missed the notification of your message!!! Wasn't being rude, promise!! Can't believe I've not been here for so long, it's been that kind of year. I would certainly appreciate a contact in the...

Have you heard the one about the Irish man, English man, 2 Yorkshire men.......

The end??? This is just the beginning Frank, the first of many SM road trips!! Love the frequent small yellow renault references too...

Beaulieu Museum Simply Italian Day 13 May

Wonder if the same treatment applies for a muddy 147 diesel full of empty Costa coffee cups and croissant wrappers? Mrs Paco's car might need an industrial deep cleanse first!! We have lucnh plans currently but if I can rearrange I'll drag the boys down to Beaulieu (and we'll park around the...

Is it just me, or is the 360 beginning to look interesting?

Having always subscribed to the school of thought that a 360 Modena was too big for a sportscar (i.e. not a supercar) I find the shape has aged well, and particularly in my favourite colour. Plus - they built loads of them, and built them pretty well, so supply is strong and depreciation...

The Portuguese Lancia Aurelia B12 1955 Series II

Frank I look forward to hearing more about this. As for Nitromors you might want to check with the bodywork guy but I recall being told it has a terrible ability to "stay" on a surface and contaminate the new finish. If you need to stop rust in its tracks without recourse to violence I can...

    355 at Mad Chris's

But over £50k is strong for a US spec Pagoda! The Bentley makes sense when VW Phaetons can't be given away, both great famly barges! Edit : Looking good Enzo, 348's are great value.

456GT with a humourous story to it....!

I think (like the 400) there are just too many of them around still, and they are well and truly in to the twilight zone of being too old for the fashionable Ferrari set and still too modern for the classic fans. 400's have been dissolving busily for years and good ones are now beginning to...

456GT with a humourous story to it....!

I know someone who bought a pretty good one (manual too and nice colour) for about £22k so I'd price this nearer £15k at the most, a proper respray will be a chunk of change alone, and I don't fancy his DIY service approach. These will become the next 400i, sure as eggs!

    Integrale

Absolutely - lottery win permitting I'd have one in my collection, just not as a daily driver.

    Integrale

My grale was fun in a slightly mental way but it did break down and it encouraged you to drive like a total loon. Our first born had just arrived and I thought it would be a good family hatch back with sporty credentials, WRONG!!!! I also bought it at auction from a deceased estate for £3500...

Continuing my "£25k Ferrari that will divide opinions" theme - F355 GTS

I disagree, I've never seen a 911 interior I liked and the R8 is very corporate Audi/bland. Recent Ferrari dashboards have been nasty though, I always liked the simplicity and purity of the 355 design though. As for quality of materials well the Germans have pretty much got that sewn up.

Continuing my "£25k Ferrari that will divide opinions" theme - F355 GTS

I saw that bent 355, not really enough room in it I don't think.(price plus cost of repair) I must really be a bit more sensible, what with having a family and all. Good job QP's are out depreciating 456's !!!!

    Integrale

That black 'grale is the absolute spit of my old one. Glad I had it, even more glad I sold it. If you want a four wheel drive rally weapon I agree an Evo V makes a lot more sense. The Grale is a stunning thing to behold, and iconic, but the ownership experience is one for the truly...

Continuing my "£25k Ferrari that will divide opinions" theme - F355 GTS

A good few years ago I was at a track day at Donnington and got chatting to a guy with a left-hook 355 he bought purely as a toy for tours and track days which he did a lot of, he took me around a couple of times and didn't spare the (prancing) horses. Apart from regular brake pads and tyres...
