My detailer was very pleased when we asked if we could postpone work on the S2000 as he was flat out with work for this event - there should be lots of very shiny cars around
Hi Alan as there may be a few in our convoy would you mind letting us know your route from E Horsley to Brookland - a convoy of two can sometimes be a challenge, espec if it's busy and with traffic lights etc. But you are a star for doing this.
A great day Peter - thank you so much - good to meet new and recognisable (I daren't say old) faces - and a little thank you to Roary for staying away - it made the rain go away
Just received a roads report from MrRR (who's seen floods where he's never seen them before) - given Roary's air intake is only 4ins from the road it's best he stays at home :( so the daily will make an appearance - it's best to be safe than sorry
@Alan Surrey has kindly/bravely offered to escort Roary and me and maybe @general_piffle - and I'll say anyone who wants to join - we're aiming for an arrival as close to 9am as traffic permits
Roary survived a trip to the Silverstone museum yesterday (it just means he'll get loads of tlc later) and we had a great time - it's all about the people :)
Correct me if I'm wrong @safrane but I don't thnk we'll object too much if there are some non-Maserati interloppers - who knows Roary may be sick :( , but I'll still come
