Well that was quite the light show! Morning all, after the rain, hopefully we can get a days graft in and complete a job at a school in Battersea today. Welding a stainless slide, woodwork and ropes as well as patching the rubber floor.

Have fun all…

Have a Great day everyone.

Morning all Friday and no work for 4 days - whoopee !!

Unfortunately younger daughter had to be dropped at school at 2:00am so she could catch the bus for her trip to Barcelona and the other two smalls still need to go to school so no lie in, maybe later when they have gone ;)

Morning all.

I'm a bit tired after seeing Orbital in Bristol last night.

And I found my tennis racquet, which has been AWOL for about three years, so I suppose I will have to play blimmin' tennis at some point.

Dropped the XJ off at Jaguar dealership to see if they can sort the “recalibration” following a recent windscreen replacement.

Auto windscreens first fitted an none OEM screen and calibration failed, went back 3 week late for them to swap that out for an OEM screen but calibration still failed.

Jaguar technicians are also have problems and have been at it for 2hrs.
They are talking about having to remove the screen and refit it !
Why do things have to be made so complicated.

These darn cars are full of safety and driving assist features. There is a camera that looks through the screen that controls some of these and they need calibration after a windscreen change.

Personally I would rather not have the features !! but am stuck with them and without calibration the dash it lit up like a Maserati needing a wheel bearing o_O

Glad my old XJ6 has got none of that nonsense for sure.
