Stunning looking in the flesh, and it’s always subjective but in my
opinion, opposite ends of the spectrum. 612 for me 8.5/10 for looks, 456 a generous 4/10.
Interesting that. Negatives being a cat car, blue interior, early car. But a unicorn manual example. I reckon reserve will be £50-60k. Who knows, wouldn’t touch it with a barge pole, but that’s because I sell them and don’t touch write-offs. As an ownership prospect it may be worth a look.
Epic thread drift! Back to it, @Guy and I fell for a stunning 550 we saw last week, but for me the rear seats would mean I’d go late 612 at £100k. 550 is often lauded as the best built Ferrari by those who know them and work on them; no such high praise for the 612 from what I’ve heard.
The 456 ‘box is problematic and NLA. Re 612’s, every way imaginable, an early one is £45k and up, a late one is >£70k, the 50% increase isn’t as they’re a couple of years newer, it’s build quality, gear change, suspension etc.
