Our repair:
Before we offer a repair we have to check the turbo at first.
The turbo will be disassembled. This is for free of charge until you give us an order for a repair.
When we see some damage or failure, we will contact you for the estimated cost for the repair.
Now it's up to you and it's your decision what you prefer.
Excluded of our repair offers are VTG turbocharger from Garrett.

Please note:
Turbocharger, once disassembled for a check, have to get new bearings, and have to be reassembled and balanced.
That can be the reason why we have to charge a fee when you please us to send the part back in " one piece" even when it's not damaged.
When you want the part back in pieces, not a problem, you only have to pay the shipping cost.
Diagnosis is/ was for free.
However.- in the most cases you will get the turbo back on the next working day.

The 3200 has IHI Japanese turbos and there are quite a few places that will repair and refurbish. By the time i worked out my turbos were damaged they were beyond repair, but I replaced them with the exact OEM part, from IHI and not Maserati. I may still have the paper work with the part numbers etc.

Just looking at the manufacturing dates they cover, was there a change of turbo after 2001??

I don't think any were manufactured after that, possibly registered after .

They are the same part number across all model years.
What I would like to know is the difference between the right and left side turbo.

They are different part numbers both the complete turbo and the cores.

One is LH and the other is RH, it's simply an orientation thing.

i am not at home so i cant get at the paperwork, but the turbos are mirror image of each other as far as I know
