458 loveliness (pics)

Well what a day i had, wow, first stop Porsche Bristol, Mr Harris' 911 RS 4.0, stunning stunning stunning.
DL, they had some machines in stock, Yellow 16M was to die for and the 250 SWB, R8 GT i loved, it is what the V10 R8 should look like as it look to similar to a V8 variant in standard form plus the seats in the GT model are lovely. At the back of the dealers, plenty of nice customer cars including 2 599 GTO's, not a massive fan of those to be honest but still nice to see them as they are rare. Popped into BMW and had a nosey at the M3 GTS, only E90 M3 which gets my pulse racing, can keep the other variants, C63 or RS4 for me. Porsche had a lovely white Speedster in stock.
Lead that connects my camera to the computer is broken so i will upload the pics when my new lead arrives. All in all, brilliant day.

Not much to be honest, it is quite dull, too sensible to be a supercar.

Looks to plain, plus the one i saw was white so it did it no favours. 458 or LP560 for me.

Mark thought the same Adam.....Buut must say I thought it looked better than the red 458 that was by the side of it...It is understated unlike the 458...May be it was because the Mclaren was in white and the 458 was red which didn't quite work for me...Now the yellow 458 they had outside with the black roof was stunning....Much prefer the interior on the Mclaren to the Ferrari..The dash surround on the 458 looks cheap........
But saying all that I would have the yellow 16M over both of them.......and save around £50kish....

Yes the Yellow 458 wearing the plate LOV 1Y was gorgeous, agree, the 16M was my fave car, totally pointless as why do you want a track car convertible but i would still have bought that and probably the R8 GT, that looked a menacing beast, seats were nice too, did not know they are only making 333 of them.

Its strange what we all see in a car as the Audi just didn't jump out at me...Just blended in and didn't grab my attention....The reviews were not the best for the R8 GT either........

Yes but to be honest, i think journo's base their opinion on whether they like the look of the car too, i would never buy a car based on a journo's decision and besides, i doubt if me or you would drive an R8 V8, V10 or GT and think, i did not have fun and found it dull compared too...... I would feel very lucky and privileged to drive such a nice car.
