I was watching an old film last night from 1973 called 'Das Wilde Schaf' starring Jean-Louis Trintignat, Romy Schneider and Jane Birkin which was shot in France, in one scene towards the end there's a line up of cars outside a church including two SMs, a DS and a Lambo Espada... proper Euro-chic and no mistake. I know I shouldn't, but I keep looking at the UK based SM's for sale on c&c... even if I could afford one the inside of my garage is about four inches too short to fit one in!

Be interesting to see how this limited edition Alpine A100 Tour de Corse does on Collecting Cars. Apparently there are only 5 RHD cars in the country so it's quite a rare thing. Not sure if the roof and bonnet are just painted black or in carbon like the R ... If I bought it I'd have to call it the wasp!

Other news. When buying the Peugeot 304, the auctioneer said the car would start, but not run. So I collected it on a low-loader and now have it back in the unit.

I've managed to fix the non-running problem - by adding some fuel! (I would have thought the auction house, or seller, might have tried that!!!!)

Renault 30 TX I had a 20 TS the same colour that was ridiculously cheap back in 84 and it was a good car with all the options apart from 6 cylinders.FB_IMG_1715175793974.jpg
