With Fiona away at her mums all weekend I decided to rerun the CE series of top gear and have to admit second time round it was much better than I remembered. Yes CE shouted too often, yes 6 presenters was too many but the buffoonery we were used to with the 3 stooges was not missed at all this time round. IMO this was a better series than most of us gave credit for with stunning cars and sublime road action (the mustang north of Ullapool in particular) so if you haven't already, give it another blast, I think you might be pleasantly surprised.
