Is it just me, or is the 360 beginning to look interesting?

Having always subscribed to the school of thought that a 360 Modena was too big for a sportscar (i.e. not a supercar) I find the shape has aged well, and particularly in my favourite colour.

Plus - they built loads of them, and built them pretty well, so supply is strong and depreciation continues.

This almost looks tempting CHEAPO 360

It is very interesting and where sensible money would go its so much better built than earlier Ferraris

To me, very bulky around the front bar - looks almost too high

Lots of these comming in down under and starting to be "as common as a/holes" :)

Challenge stradale would be the pick more so from a rarirty & resale value - noticed a few on Autotrader

That does seem cheap Paco........Well worth a look if they are your thing.......Not a fan myself but when 355's and the like are the same money or more this seems good money for a modern Ferrari.....I drove mt brother in laws many moons ago and wasn't that impressed but can understand why you would be interested at that money...As with the above..355 for me..

A flood of these also coming into Australia at good prices. I could be tempted by a Spider as I think it's quite a pretty car, but wouldn't sell the 3200 to get one.

Agree about going for older or newer. The 360 has never done it for me. The 430 is a nice piece of work but much more expensive.

Have you driven any of them? I once drove a 355 and could not get to grips with how far forward you sit in the wheelbase.

360 was a very good car, it was a step up in terms of driving experience, i suppose it is not the prettiest modern Ferrari, especially if you compare to the 355. There are a few of these at around 35k with not many miles, i suspect they probably need a clutch or some money spending on them. F430 was epic, better looking and a lot quicker.

This is probably one of the best "cheap" 360's out there, nice colour combo ( bordeaux not to everyone's taste) and Nick Cartwright has a very good rep.

Having never driven a 360, I thought it had a reputation, like the 348, for being more tail happy than normal?

Yes, they do let go easier, been in a couple of 360's and in sport mode, they feel a little tricky. 355 sticks to the road like glue in comparison and the F430 goes like the clappers regardless of the conditions.

All very subjective if you've never driven one and even as a passenger I'm afraid you wouldn't know if they "feel a little tricky" or not.
My Lotus is harder to drive fast than my Lambo and far more likely to swap ends, yet I'm sure my passengers would say otherwise.

These 360's (which I've never driven) are growing on me too. Considering the apparent jump in reliability from the 355 and the affordability, could a manual (to get away from F1 clutch issues) 360 be an option as a daily drive?
What are they, 3.6 litre? Must get 20mpg from that, which would be better than my 4.4 litre X5. How do you reckon the service costs would compare to that of a V8 BMW? Hmmmm....

Dan main dealer servicing on any Ferrari is always going to be pricey.

Not being a Ferrari man I was taken by the black 430 coupe parked outside the Europa restaurant, apparantly it was the owners.

Dan, how about a GranSport, better mileage and reliability than a 360, and they don't devalue and has 4 seats, great cars.

Similarly priced too.

Oh, spoke to Pauk today, your car is coming on really well, you are going to be very pleased.

Yes it's a temporary one in honour of the boys pulling themselves back through some torrid times of late.

Nigel Adkins is a name we are all going to become familiar with, he has been in management for 6 years now, 4 with Scunny and 2 with Saints and has achieved 4 promotions in 6 seasons.
