Cadwell Park Track day 26th March 2010

Hi fellas

I'm one of the organisers with http://www.trackaction-online.co.uk/phpBB2/, we are a trackday forum and we run a few of our own club events. We will be making our annual trip to Cadwell Park on Friday March 26th as our next track outing. We are running the usual setup of open pitlane, free tuition from our team of ARDS instructors and limited numbers to make sure you can get plenty of lappage on this fantastic circuit!

The list price for this event is £150 but as ever we are doing a special rate for the clubs that we work with to run these days and we’ve frozen last years price so you can book a place for just £125. Passengers can be booked in for a tenner and extra drivers for £35.

If you haven’t been to Cadwell before it’s one of the best circuits in the country, fast and flowing in some places, tight and twisty in others and with some gradient changes that you won’t believe until you have driven them - a fantastic trackday venue. If you haven't done a trackday before then nows your chance!

Sorry about the short notice on this, I've only just found your forum , we'd love to get a few of you along and Loz said it would be OK to post up so I hope that some of you can join us.

If you'd like to book a place please shout up on here and I'll PM you the booking details and discount code to get the cheaper rate.

Cheers

Not sure I can spare the time or the car can bear the strain, but that looks like a great deal.

Am booked in at Bedford on Sat 3rd April, and worried i might kill my brakes and clutch doing two days so close together. Don't need the car as an every day driver, so if anyone had some spare brakes they were not using and could bring them along for me to "borrow" if I kill them........ ;)

PS - where is my avatar? Can see it in my profile, does it need to be moderated just in case it is rude?

I'm sure you'll be able to get another set of pads between the two events and your clutch shouldn't suffer much with track use, if you can get the time off you'd be very welcome to come along.

Sure my clutch plate will be fine - just worried my actuator arm / mechanism is on the way out. After last track day i noticed a slight change in clutch feel, which persists to this day. Is there a weakness in our release bearing or throwout arm where it can tear?

Brakes are easy, so long as it is not raining on my driveway.

thanks Loz - will let you know. Does anyone take trolley jack and tools to their track day? ;)
Might also hook up with the "belfast brakes" offer. Never had so many good deals form a forum. This is where it's at. :D

I did it for you, you had set up your profile picture, this is not the avatar, you have to set that up separate in your profile "Edit avatar"

It would be good if you did, would like to know how they perform, they seem very good if you read the spec, withstanding over 500 degrees C without fade.
