The machine wont print out until the 30 minute time slot has expired , or so im led to believe
Don't think the Vosa guidelines of 45 minute test has changed.
3 year old cars with low mileage really easy to test but if it's a 20 year old Land Rover Discovery it can take you well over an hour especially if the engine is cold on a chilly day to get it through emissions and fill your workshop up with soot.

OK next on the list was doing something about sticky buttons.

I had the intention of taking the whole panel out but could not get it out and i did not want to force anything.

So plan B I thought I would at least clean all the goo off the buttons,I was a bit surprised to see that the buttons function was actually imprinted into the plastic. So when cleaned you can still see what the button did. (Does not show up on the photo but it is there)
So I am actual considering just leaving the buttons as is.
To clean the Buttons i used methylated spirits and WD40 together on a cloth
What do you guys think?

Sticky buttons are a… ahem… well worn topic.
Leaving them white is certainly an option. Multiple threads on the site here about getting them professionally repainted or, more recently, using interior black spray paint and adhesive labels to restore them to their black glory.
As for the panel removal. On the left/right sides of the flat screen, pull hard with a trim puller and it will pop right out. Beware that the back end of the unit may well crumble apart as it is made of quite fragile plastic.
The HVAC panel below is then straightforward removal with a few screws.

Enjoy!

...pushed up the passenger window because someone lowered the window and it didn't go back up (QP). Time to buy some regulators.
