Thought i'd start a thread on here aswell about my Giulietta QV as i'm starting to do a few mods to it. I dropped it off yesterday to get things started on it and the 1st couple of bits i'm having done are a custom remap and a new exhaust system put on the car. I'm getting the work done at an Alfa specialist in watford called ProAlfa - http://www.proalfa.com They are a great bunch of guy's and Chris & Fred are very knowledgable and helpful, its also very handy them being a 5 minute drive from home

I started talking to them about stuff i could do to it at Silverstone a couple of weeks ago when a few of us went to watch the last Alfa race of the year (they look after a diesel GT and also a Punto which both done really well) and what started off as a few ideas has now turned into me making the decision to make a start on modding it to see what it can be like with a few changes.

I haven't got a timescale of when i want it all done but i've got a few ideas i want to do to it but it depends on time/money i get spare. Not sure when i will have the car back after the 1st bit of work as i said no rush (i only use it at weekends) so hopefully over the next few days i will be able to update this with some more details and photo's of what has been done so far.

Can't wait to get it back already

Here's a few pics of what it looks like 'standard'

And a couple from Llandow (thanks to lisknik)

Its ready :) i could have taken it home tonight but i got a photo from fred of pat of the dyno printout and was passing so i dropped in to see it. i was in my work stuff and it was dark and chucking it down with rain so im picking it up in the morning but just looking at what they have done to it, to say im happy with it is a massive understatment. i can't wait to pick it up and go and drive it. the exhaust looks and sounds great and apparently people from around the industrial estate were going in to see what was on the dyno thinking it was a high powered skyline or something like that but were surprised to see an alfa on there :D tomorrow can't come quick enough :D

Looking good

:thumb3:

Just a stunning car LJ.......Look forward to updates on what you do.

Thanks Andy :thumb3: i managed to get the video off my mate from Llandow with 1 of the people from the maserati forum. not sure what his name was but he had a blue elise and we were having a good few laps together so will get that sorted out and post it for him to see as he asked to see it when it was done.

Picked my car up this morning from ProAlfa and i can't believe its the same car! i will post some pics and the dyno graph if anyone is interested but the results were pretty impressive. Fred did say there was more to get but intake temperatures were getting high so he cut it back to run safely and that an FMIC &/or WMI will help a lot but for now its more than enough……

301.7 bhp & 338.6 ft-lb :D its now a stupidly quick car  can't thank them enough for what they have done to my car
