Been told needs a dual mass flywheel clutch 450 quid is this right?
Didn't know it was dual mass?

Ah bollox :(
When the clutch went on her car (bmw 318) I was told that it's absolutely imperative that you also change the dual mass.
**** that ..... it was expensive so I didn't bother :whistle:
I haven't been found out yet :lol:

I'm tempted to say bollox to it and just get a clutch kit put in.
Lad that's refitting gearbox when it comes back says the same imperative blah blah.
******* GT getting sold by end of year.
NB said he'd buy it :thinking:

It was a no brainer for me really.
1. The part (dual mass) was extortionate.
2. It was on her car, not mine.
3. It's a BMW with 175000 on the clock (180000 currently)
4. I fitted the clutch (with help from a Mercedes tech)

Well ok, he fitted it and I helped :D

Basic kit for 1.9 clutch change... Clutch kit, DMF, Slave cylinder, gearbox oil, brake fluid. Parts £510, fitting £300, Do it right or do it twice.

GT back on road reverse light doesn't work and reverse sensors not working?
Have they disconnected anything on gearbox relating?
