Gutted had to spend some money on my 147 bangernomic runabout.

Leaking cam cover gasket leak had flooded one of the coil packs with dirty oil and a broken spark plug were the cause of the 3 cylinder variant it had become. Even worse A4A not only repaired these bits he also replaced the side light bulb that had blown just after the last MOT - such extravagance on the bangor :(

Well after 20 mths, 12k miles the 147 is off to a new home. Purchase £700, MOT £50, 1 x Coilpack, 1 x Spark Plug, 1 nearside bulb £65, Sell £650 - Cheap motoring

That is good going, exceedingly cheep for a classy car :)

Same story with my GT, bought for £4100 cat salvage, £1500 in repairs, owed me £5600

Drove for 5 years, 65k miles, sold for £3900, thats £340 a year depreciation :)
