New Year Run to Whitby

Inspired by the wales run on New Years Day I'm planning to do a run from York to Whitby.

The plan will be to head from York via Rufforth out to Wetherby. From there to Thirsk and up Sutton Bank. Tea in Helmsley then off Pickering before taking the road off to Whitby for Fish & Chips at the Magpie.

If anyone else is interested let me know and I'll see about booking things.

Haha. There's always that.

Still looking at lunchtime at Wetherby services if anyone else wants to drive out.

Weather isn't looking that good at the moment. Though we've supposed to have fog the last three days and it's been bright sunshine instead.

I've just watched the forecast and it looks like it's going to be similar to today - cold and clear. I'm game if others are though not sure about going all the way to Whitby if we aren't meeting til lunch time.
