Hi - This is the first time I've ever experienced this - there is a parasitic drain on my cars battery, and I don't know what's causing it. I switched off the radio and done a few checks - is there a come fault that causes this as its not my cars battery, had that checked and changed. When I leave the car over-night, in the morning the battery will be flat if I do not charge it .. any ideas, is it a common fault?
I would really welcome any insight as to what is causing this.. any help or guidance appreciated:tomato6::tomato6:

I think you do have a fault there somewhere, I can leave my 159 for days and she always fires up, unlike my 156 which drains her battery in 3 days. My 33 is the best I can leave that weeks, no drain at all...but then again no alarm or anything!! :)

Welcome. Are you sure it's not just the battery on its way out?

It could be the alternator. Tun the car, put a bolt meter on the battery terminals and you should get a reading of 14.4v.

If it's below14v it's your alternator.
