    1.5Ti Sud

Just been to see a genuine 44k 1.5Ti Sud. X reg on twin carbs and other than a bit of bubbling round both front and rear screens it was in remarkable condition. Original red paint work in excellent condition, floors, rails and bulkhead all solid with no signs of rot. Owner looking for around £8k before it goes in a classic auction in December.

Tempted but with the Q4 being rebuilt I don't want another project regardless of how easy the work is.

Meter had the pleasure of driving one, are they as good as what people say?

If it were me I’d wait till the auction and try and nick it.

Bizarrely the owner won't share photos of it but he is a bit of a car nut having owned a number of De Tomasos including a Guara from new which he has only just sold. He had two pristine Merc saloons from the late 90s both with less than 20k miles on.

I don't think it will make the £8k he is asking in the auction but I guess he will have reserve on it but here is the auction link
