My beloved 159 jtd has a big problem. I managed to lose a full tank of oil along the length of my village (about 600 yards) I need a new set of oil cooling pipes which are a discontinued part. Does anyone know of a breaker or manufacturer who may be able to help. It's a 2005 jtd 20v. Thank you.

Try Laurence at the Bournemouth branch, very helpful and a top bloke who takes the time to help distressed Alfisti...believe me, I know, he's been very patient with me:

Hi THMPERUK

Whilst parts for both 'new' and 'old' Alfa Romeos are pretty easy to source, cars that fall between either criteria can be a pain.

Google may be your friend.

If you have no joy buying one you might actually be able to get one made up. A few years back when I was making my 'special' I had a clutch pipe made up - it had to connect a 'imperial' connector MGB pedal box/master cylinder with the 'metric' connectors on the Alfa Romeo clutch slave.
I went to the Beaulieu Autojumble and found a company that specialised in making up pipes (oil / hydraulics etc) to order. They did a great job and it cost peanuts.
I am on holiday at the moment so unfortunately can't give you a contact details but I can have a look through my records in a week or so (if you have no joy elsewhere).
