A friend of my dads lost his MOT license for doing that (actually his son did it without his knowledge), cost him £1/4 million a year in lost revenues.

Not worth it.

My wife's old Sebring had her personal reg on it, no MOT and as long as the car has been continuously sorned for more than 12 months then you can remove the private reg, been there done it and can confirm as we had a load of **** proving that it had been sorned for 12 months
