I got an email from the VSCC this morning and all this years competitive events (races, speed and trials) are gone. Apart from Mallory which looks in doubt and Loton which H&DLCC haven’t decided on yet.

MSUK guidance came out last week and I don’t think I’ll be competing in anything this year.

Just heard that 2 Curborough events I have entered in August look like they will be going ahead.

"The team at Shenstone and District Motor Club are making every effort to put in procedures which will allow competitive motorsport at Curborough to start under the COVID 19 guidelines issued by Motorsport UK. And having been in contact with the BMMC it is planned that we will go ahead with the events on 29th and 30th August".

I am also still hoping to compete at Loton on 12th July as they are still planning to go ahead as we speak.

Am propervpissed off with them for cancelling this, considering it’s an outside event, I would have been camping in my own tent, and the pubs will be open by then anyway. Stupid decision

Probably for the best... I went last year on the Friday and managed to rupture my ankle ligaments. A trip to the medical centre followed by a trip to Northampton A&E. Given we were due to travel to Japan in the September it was touch and go whether or not we would travel.
