You could have used a used ecu, quite a few ones about.

    Oil light intermittent flashing

Ok,there are two possibilities At the last service/oil change the dealer didn't reset the oil degredation counter,so after a few months it popped up(we see that quite often) Or,you do a lot of short journeys and it regenerates quite often, sometimes maybe missing a complete cycle in which case...

    My Poorly 360

Without going into too much detail and although it doesn't strictly apply to the 360(but can cause eeprom corruption),in the case of twin ecu set ups you have a master and a slave. Not a problem on this car.

    My Poorly 360

It's all down to production costs, you can accomodate six cylinders in one ecu,but it becomes easier to use two for eight or more,as you use two four cylinder ones, rather than specifically manufacture a unit that will run ten or twelve which is not common.

    Old Brera vid.

I think the only Brera that can potentially stand up to the name of a true GT car is a well modified 2.4 jtd Take a look at this clip(many of you may have seen it already),a well modified car with over 30k miles of trouble free running. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1ANyBxxYyBk

    Egr blanking and map delete

The turbo gets covered in soot from the exhaust gases anyway ,whether the egr is allowed to open or shut. At least if you shut the egr on a clean (possibly from new) engine then you dont get inlet manifold, cylinder head ports ,valves and even piston crowns covered in that muck.We have had cars...
