    2024 Some Scottish Car Events

From what I gather, it’s like this every year. ClubLotus have been sending emails about Glamis since November and had most cars confirmed and paid by January. It’s a strange show none the less, lots of the same stuff each year, the car park is always worth a quick walk around for some nice stuff!!

    2024 Some Scottish Car Events

I expect that was mine, Sunday only, on the stand neighbouring Club Lotus, and only because my Lotus blew it’s header tank on the Saturday I’ll be at Glamis, but in the Elise and I’d like to be at Hopetoun, but it’s clashed with holidays a couple of times. The Stirling site looks good too...

    Scottish Italian Car Day 2023

Ticket bought, taking my 9 year old daughter who has made it this far into her life without going to a proper car show, which needs rectifying (weather dependent I suppose)!

    Ferrari Brave Pill

I have the wonderful ability to not care what I look like. I trimmed my beard last week for the first time since September I think, at which point, it was simply a massively unkempt mess of hair sprouting from my face (it still grows there!!). Perhaps somewhere in my head, I felt there was a...

    Ferrari Brave Pill

As a balding guy, I own more than a couple of baseball caps. In my Maserati lives… my Alfa Romeo hat :)

    Ferrari Brave Pill

It’s twin is coming soon on CollectingCars: https://collectingcars.com/for-sale/1994-ferrari-348-gts It’s local too, Dunfermline. I think the owner hasn’t had it too long either as it seemed to be sold from Aberdeen in 07/22.

    Ferrari Brave Pill

A couple of you have explicitly said Coupe, is there a reason to avoid the 360 Spider other than the complications of the roof mechanism? Scuttle shake bad?

    Ferrari Brave Pill

Interestingly this thing is still there £47,950 at the moment (perhaps it was back in Jan too). I expect that even beyond the chat previously about it being an early car etc. that a mere mortal like me attempting to run a V12 Ferrari on a budget is probably not a great idea, but it's a nice...

Something old something new... for the Alfa lovers

So… they’ve taken a years old car, ruined the looks, permanently removed the roof and diluted the prestige. What else have they done? Will it cost more!? Crazy. That 156 is beautiful though

Scottish italian car day 29/5/22 @ hopetoun house, queensferry

I might be up for this too. Maser passed it’s MOT today, and seems to be fully operational despite only managing a paltry 600 miles last year!

Interesting way to sell a car

Interesting way to spend 40 quid (or whatever an auto trader ad costs) more like. I don't see them selling that! I'm sure there is a weird psychological thing here somewhere, I look at it and think the seller clearly can't be bothered with the car, so I can't be bothered with them, but someone...

    Comes into her own .

My old 159 was good in snow too. Bought it from a guy in Aboyne, it even came with all season tyres on it. That and the boat anchor diesel up front put it in good stead and of course without being 4WD. While I do like the Cooper S we replaced it with, I miss the beautiful looks of both the...

    Ratarossa 512BB

I thought this too! There are comments on one of the videos from another you tuber who does detailing, I think they are planning a joint think once we are allowed to do that sort of thing. Such a beautiful car. I’ve watched a bunch of his older videos in the background as I work now...

    Ratarossa 512BB

I've been watching videos by a youtuber called Ratarossa. Basically, he owns multiple Ferrari's in an assortment of conditions. You could say they are ruined, or that he has saved them, I'm inclined to think the latter, though there is perhaps an element of spectacle for the YouTube audience...
