    Knowing the 33 its may be a bad earth, I would try a completely new earth from the battery to the engine and check the distributor is earthed through to the battery. Im sure you'll get there mate and yes Retro at Good wood looks great.

    Anyone had experience in fitting a remote oil filter housing?. I have removed the bulky 5 liter washer bottle and re-routed the tubing and wiring to the rear windscreen bottle to free up some space under the bonnet, I already have a mocal oil cooler and sandwich plate fitted from the existing...

    Weekend before last. This was the 1st time I had run the car for over 40 miles since August 2015.

    Cheers for the nice comments guys, and yes having a rollcage certainly helped keeping the car straight whilst cutting the tin worm out, going to create some rear bumper mounts next and strengthen the boot floor as I removed the wheel well several years ago and welded in a flat bed, have ordered...

    Update, got a new ticket on the old girl after extensive cutting out badly welded patches from previous garages then rebuilding new inner sills and welding of the floor inner sills and outer sills including re-painting the sill covers.
