I think it is MUCH too early to be worrying about the weather at this stage. FWIW, Hyperlocal Weather is saying Rain on Saturday and Drizzle overnight, and then Dry (and Windy) from about 09:17 on Sunday morning.

We drove the Remutaka Hill road, north of Wellington (NZ) today, which was quite a drive. But in a Hyundai Lethargy or something, not a Maserati!
