Hi Guys .
My clutch has gone bang , big time , I have it sat at my local garage and they can’t help me .
Who is the best outfit to come and pick her up for surgery , or is there any parts type peeps who will supply the necessary bits , thankyou .
I am in East Yorkshire , I suppose there is JCT in Leeds but being from Yorkshire I didn’t fancy paying main dealer prices .

Mike .

Marios @ Autoshield. He has a transporter that can collect from the vehicle's current location. Alternatively, use your breakdown cover to have it recovered to Marios. Obviously, discuss with him when he can arrange to receive it at his premises. He can sort it and fit your X-pipe whilst its with him.

Marios is coming to get her on Friday , well not Marios himself but you know what I mean .
Can’t wait to get her back , just hope all goes well , I feel quite giddy , good grief , it’s like a loved one going in for an operation , I need to calm down , I guess the bill will be pretty sobering.

As a matter of interest, is the manual clutch system on Maseratis just basically a clutch? ie no special method or SD3 needed?

As far as I know , yes , just a normal clutch , my garage friend couldn’t get one though , tried all over .

Stretched clutch cable I reckon. None available... could be a cheaper fix than a clutch.

You can adjust the shifter cables too. The oil can need changing too with no selection of gears being a symptom of under filled or tired..
