Got someone in yesterday to see the car and offered £17.250.
I am thinking of taking it, even if I don’t really have a car to replace it right away as the 550 offer fell through.
I might be able to get a bit more but I am not sure I can deal with the headache of punters etc....

Looks nice and would say at £18k some one is getting a bargain, depends how much you need the money and £750 is not a lot in the grand scheme

I don’t need the money but I think the car is more valuable w 12months warranty left and in September rather than in 6months time. Besides I want to be ready to pull the trigger on the right 550 and not have to worry about garage space / selling the M3 then.

The only downside is that the lease car I just ordered won’t be available for another 6weeks - may be longer. So I have no car to go to work with until the lease car arrives.

I might start running to work then :)

I'd be inclined to take the offer in the current market. Unless your prepared to take a punt that a better buyer may come along at some point. Just be prepared to wait a while and risk no buyer in the end or maybe even achieving less.

I'm not up on prices on these so can't really comment but if it is there or thereabouts I would be inclined to take it unless it is a rare, special, unique or very good example in demand.

I've got an Alfa GT you could borrow if you get stuck.

I have accepted the offer - the buyer wants to get the car ASAP. Let’s see what happens.

Thanks Dean - I’ll let you know for the Alfa. Really appreciate the offer

Good work....for the sake of circa 750 quid I think it is a good decision. Sure, no worries.

The Alfa is here and hopefully I'll get the Vantage back soon. Could make the XJL SuperSport available possibly if the Vantage is back by then.

So you did buy the vantage? Pictures??

Yup, Vantage was bought and 4200 sold with TVR part ex'd to fund it. Not taken any good ones yet but a few before it went away.

Nice!
Interesting paint work. Is that silver a wrap? Or a special paint order?
Not my doing but a silver wrap done by previous owner to make it look like N420/N430. I'm not sure if it will stay or go and I like it or not.

Agreed Andy. I think a 4.3 Manual is fast enough and cost effective compared to later 4.7's as they were much more rare. In the real world a 4.3 is plenty fast enough for me and most.

I would be more than happy with a 4.3 Manual, when you're bored of it and it has depreciated another £10k give me a call ;)

Well - if you re-read the history of this lovely forum, that position has been filled (by me) - you are late to the party sir! Please get in line

Not wanting to offend anyone but white isn’t my cup of tea, and besides, I already have enough white cars at home. I just put a lease order for a white Tiguan for the wife, despite my trying to convince her otherwise... influencing women into something they don’t want to do, hey??!

Lol, lease on a white Tiguan bet that was painful. Not a white fanboy myself wasn't my first choice for the QP but I am liking it. I think for the Granturismo this Blue is the best if you can find it.
