It's probably doubled in value in the last 72 hours, if it still exists I'd think it's in a ford storage facility somewhere.
I know ford have an area at dagenham with historic vehicles , not open to the public but they do allow the odd tour62208

ford heritage centre, invited tours only, always surprised that millions of pounds worth of cars were kept under clear polythene dust covers in that old run down building, think they now have a brand new building

I prefer to watch films in the comfort of my own home. Too many antagonistic issues that would drive me partly insane at a cinema. I have to endure a view visits with kids parties etc. but it is rare.

If I can build a new house and the planning dept let us build it big enough there certainly will be a cinema room and a snooker room. If they don't let us then I'll have to knock up some external fancy sheds to do the same.

Our Cinema here in Laval France never busy when the films shown in English seen a few now and never more than 25 people in there all adults.
A very pleasurable experience.

if the local authority wont let you build it big enough and they haven't removed your permitted development rights then simply build an extension under PD rights when house is almost substantially complete and whilst builders still there, you can build fairly big extensions and outbuildings under permitted development rights, you don't need full planning permission just a certificate of lawfulness

We are fortunate to have our own cinema upstairs. After the summer's upgrade (including the drive to Cheshire for the new speakers), I was watching a moving thinking 'The sound alone is better than our local, but I won't say that because I must be imagining it'
3 minutes later Mrs C turns to me and says 'This sound better than the Cineworld, don't you think?" :D

you simply cant beat the experience on the big screen though

That entirely depends on how you define 'big' . Our screen occupies pretty much more of the visual field than our local, but, of course, you sit a lot closer.

If I was to change anything the paint in the room needs to be darker, but then it becomes unusable for anything else.

I bought a benq 1080p projector earlier in the year , not got round to setting it up yet.
I've built a room on the back of the house, it was going to be a conservatory but ended up with one of those warm roofs on it so I'm hoping it's dark enough with just the blinds

Probably not, but try it and see.

Agreed and that is already in the future plan if required

Very nice and I am sure you are right with the sound. You can get a nice home cinema set up for not silly money these days. Good work you

With my tinnitus seemingly getting worse I find the cinemas are really loud (too loud) but I still find myself weirdly struggling to hear the speech very well. I have the same issue at home but not as bad. Still find myself moving the volume substantially up and down during the film though. My new Sennheiser noise cancelling headphones seem to help a fair bit.

Just researching some possible new options and places to see if they can help reduce or remove my tinnitus as it getting pretty unbearable now.

Ford v Ferrari.
Is it worth splashing out on the IMAX experience?

Went and saw it in IMAX yesterday. If you’re going to bother to go to a cinema, then why not splash out on the extra for IMAX?

great film IMO and the fake pits they created from scratch at Road Atlanta looked pretty authentic to me. The Le Mans film with Steve McQueen bombed at the box office as it was all about the racing, with no plot or dialogue. This is the opposite and should appeal to a much wider audience.

If I was my brother I'd be asking 'any shàgging in it?'
