I suspect that they get a visit to the Dunton ‘research’ department then (a bit of special tuning), also the National Ford warranty and admin are based in Brentwood which may account for it.

It's a Mk1, note the corner bar on the bumper (Mk2s onward didn't have them) pic is from the Summer of '67 anyway and the Mk2 didn't go on sale in October

The Mods back in the 60'S put a lot more than two on their Scooters but I reckon the motor would stall if they switched them on.

A Panda 4x4 is a very capable vehicle if a tad basic, they are certainly worth having if you can find one at a reasonable price
