Had a broken message back of a cost of 198 euro, I'm assuming that's each, how does that fit into replacing the whole wishbone?

It’s about half a new pattern part. And I am baffled as to why you would need it as the bearings can be replaced in the standard rod.

You don't ...unless you had to cut the original ones in half to get them out... :as004:

They're a plain rod end bearing...and can be got for about £15 ( @Navcorr turned me onto the supplier BTW) I rebuilt the one that failed but didnt fit it back on the car cos they're sh1t !
Others have had more luck than me but speaking from experience, never again !!
Rebuild your originals if you got them out in one piece.Cant beat 'em I reckon !
Just my opinion, of course...

I went the repair route in the end and very pleased I did. Not least because otherwise I think it likely I'd have got the dodgy ones you ended up with. I found Larini a little awkward to deal with tbh which made the decision which way to go easier. Shortly after you got the last set they had in stock.
Does anyone know if Craig Waterman is still manufacturing these for FD/Larini?

I cant say for certain..They certainly look like the same items. If they are ( Imm not saying they are) he should end his association with them too iMO

Im not alone in suffering early failure with these either..,,

And yeah. Arrogant f@ckt&rds. Its a 20 dollar bit- you'd think they'd chuck another at me to keep me happy. Its not the first grand£ I've spent with them either - but no. It was everybody else's fault...
Im a dumb punter, what do I know ? The suspension specialists @ Centre Gravity, they dont know what they're on about. And as for thr Maserati specialists Grimaldi, they're doing it all wrong. FD knows best, even from the other side of the Atlantic...:)

Im afraid I couldnt be arsed to argue the t055. You cant reason with stupid...:D
Over priced tatt anyway...lol

Finally got mine finished this afternoon, Considering the relative ease of the 4200 the GS fought me the whole way and required full removal of both lower wishbones (and shims) and involved seized threads and all sorts. Add to that trying to work around this ruddy cold and I have a feeling of success at last. I have also managed to change the ball joint covers which were both split and have fitted new outer lower studs to the said ball joints. Also installed new handbrake shoes, rear disks and EBC Yellow Stuff it is all looking shiney back there.

I can turn my attentions to the front end now
