Had a decent meal the other week at Butlers Wharf Chop House. Sat outside as weather was decent too.

I was at Pollen Street Social the other week - me and Mrs Hawk did the taster menu and wine flight and were suitably impressed.

Depending on budget

Claude Boisi at Bibendum is stonking
Smiths of Wapping for outrageously good seafood with fantastic views
<left field> Cinnamon Kitchen in Battersea </f>

Hexagon Classics have just launched a Mediterranean restaurant called The Engine Room, which could be worth a try.
Good excuse to poke around the showroom between courses.

If you want really excellent food then I can’t recommend Petrus in Knightsbridge enough and the Saturday night dinner dance at the Ritz Piccadilly is always an event. If you are looking for a cheap lunch or dinner then try Bateux London. Riverside bar and loung followed by a five course dinner on board a river cruise.

Another location for lovely food is Bob Bob Ricard. Fantastic venue and a champagne button on your table are all you need to know.
