Our last All Italian Car Breakfast Meet of 2021 will be held Saturday the 2nd October.
As with our previous meets, it will be at The Departure Lounge Cafe, just outside Alton in northern Hampshire. http://www.thedepartureloungecafe.co.uk

The café is a great venue for a breakfast meet, as it has a large solid field on which the owner lets us park so as to be able to display our cars all together and out of the main public car park.

The meet starts at 10am, which is when the café opens, and is not a formal event so no booking is necessary, and entry is free, so just come along if you fancy it.

It is open to any Italian car of any age, and we have had classics and supercars through to modern Alfas, Fiats, and of course lots of nice Maseratis - as well as everything in between. Attendees have come from across the southern counties and as far afield as London, Kent, and Dorset, with many clubs supporting the event. Last time it was great to say hello to some of you from SportsMaserati in person.

The format is simple, we park up, chat to other owners and look at the cars on show, and have some breakfast if you want to. People usually drift away after lunch. We have had close to 200 cars at some of last years' events, so there is plenty to see.

It would be great to see you before the winter months arrive and we have the long wait until we recommence in April next year.

Bump.
Who is thinking of going to this? Although the weather forecast looks pretty bad at the moment....

Might just fit it in with a Ducati meet at Newlands

Weather and fuel permitting
The Duke has a thirst for go go juice that would put a masser to shame

Well, the weather looks like it'll be appalling, and you may have to queue for a long time to get fuel, but we are still meeting for any hardy souls who want to try and make it!

I’ll be there. The weather will be rubbish but you know what they say - there’s no such thing as bad weather, just the wrong clothes

Conclusions from the (small) event:

  1. Maserati owners don’t like rain
  2. Alfa and Fiat owners are made of sterner stuff
  3. Hadn’t realised what a good looking car the Alfa Brera was

That’s all

I was here in the wet. The Jag in the video had an LS3 fitted. It was awesome. Overtaken by minis though.

No photos - too grey and rainy. But there was a wacky old Panda there and seriously, any thing goes
