I member of my family is working for the Alpine team (gearbox designer) so I’ll be supporting them this season. Should be good for a few podiums.

You have an A110 in the stable as well right (?)

For me it was a shame that an exciting last season was tainted by controversy.
Verstappen is undoubtably the future but he’ll want to win another title without any doubt or controversy.
I like Hamilton. I don’t understand the resentment.
I think he was dreadfully unlucky and that fate transpired against him.
In a lot of eyes he was last years winner.
I’d like to see him prove that this year- although it looks like he’s got more than a few issues to work thru.

That’s me at Goodwood at the Alpine day.
I’ve not bought one yet, but do keep looking and thinking. Could do with them dropping from £50k to £40k, but that doesn’t seem to be happening. Their depreciation is glacial.
I‘m looking for one in the dark blue, with chocolate leather standard seats.

I test drove this purple Legende on Monday, absolutely loved it and considering ordering a new A110GT in June/July.

a All this robbery talk is just fans hanging on to their disappointment - which is understandable but life is tough. Enjoy the coming season without prejudice or hang-ups, it’ll just spoil it for you.

A Max fan will always argue he was hard done by through the year to justify that last race and a Lewis fan will always say he was robbed in the last race. It was F1 that lost that day no matter what happened before or what driver won because on the world stage that day they were seen by fans and non fans as a laughing stock. I certainly do not have any prejudices or hang ups as just love F1 and will enjoy it no matter who is winning.

The cars can follow each other closer but seem to struggle to pass once the car behind pulls beside the one in front

What a fantastic race and great result. So happy for Haas and Kevin. I bet Lewis never expected a podium.

If every race is going to be like that roll it on, close racing through out with a bit of drama at the end - if F1 wants new fans this is the spectacle they want to see.

The Ferrari has looked drivable straight out of the box and its traction out of corners seems to make it hard to pass even with the new rules. Just wait for Wingey Spice to complain that they are cheating

Both Alpines in the top 10, which is a solid start. Unlike the “British” teams of Aston, McLaren and Williams, who look way off.
Happy for Ferrari also. So I’ll use mine to go to work in today, to celebrate.
