Morning everyone!
A day to rest for once. Also, really looking forward to "The Hunted" starting on Channel 4 tonight - my business partner's daughters are one of the 6 pairs of contestants.
HapPea Sunday! xXx

Morning all, sadly I took two swims yesterday and I knocked my confidence something rotten! I was trying out some dry-suit trousers in combination with cag and spray deck, I couldn’t lean forward and it meant I was unstable. 3km into the paddle it unravelled quickly and I ended up in the drink! Wet rescue quickly made by the others and I was back in the boat all too briefly and after the second dunking it was decided to ‘rescue’ me back to the starting point, this involved a 4-boat tow. The pool practice worked a treat and when we got back, I called it a day and the others went off for another paddle.

I’m not going to paddle today as I need to restore my confidence in familiar water. So a leisurely drive back to Essex it is then.

Have fun all…

Glorious blue sky here, so we are sitting outside our favourite coffee shop reading the papers.

My wonderful father does 14 years ago today, so will raise a glass or two in his memory later.

We are also taking our Ukrainian guests to a picnic with other hosts and Ukrainians, help them support each other.

Will get out in the TR6 later as a reward :D

Good morning. Lazy start today, and Baxter Dury song "welcome to Miami" casually mentions "Mr Maserati", which was nice.

morning all. Day off today to finish Range Rover after replacing engine.
Jobs today, fir light units, front bumper, both driveshafts, front lower suspension re-assembly, brakes and wheels, tighten couplings on transfer box. To think when it came apart I thought light unit removal/seperation was a PIT job that took ages!
Loving the experience and perspective.

It's often said if you don't fall in you're not trying hard enough - and it's even better if you know why you fell in - great learning experience.

It is indeed but I fear I may be moving this boat on quite quickly for a better fit! The compromise will be a slower boat again.

Getting the oil changed in the van ATM, then to go and load it up and a few jobs locally to mop up.

Good news on the improving kitty Phil.

Have fun all…

Morning all. Later than usual start in the office this morning as I needed to get two near tyres for my bike in prep for Ride London next Sunday.

Loads of work to do today, so I guess I better crack on.

Morning Andy and everyone.
A fair bit of welcome rain last night and now a beautiful sunny morning.
Plenty to get on with and then a nice 5 day break for Ms French so I will be doing the same :)

Morning all, rarely get jealous but the boss is flying to Monte Carlo today for the build up to the GP, I suspect he will be sending me teasers through out the rest of the week.

But I am safe in the knowledge that Le Mans is just round the corner and that is so much better
