Thanks to the person who mentioned Stanley Tucci: Searching for Italy.
I thought it was on this thread, but alas, my excuse for a memory has let me down again.
Just watched the first episode on Aunty's iPlayer.
He really nails this IMO. In the best traditions of Keith Floyd, Anthony Bourdain and a very few others.
I had no idea what a huge star he is, but nowhere does he make this about himself.
I'm not a big fan of zucchini but he convinced me that I have to have a go at the zucchini spaghetti
recipe.
He reminds me of David Niven. Very self effacing. But a brilliant raconteur and a thoroughly likeable guy.

I was the second person. I believe @Andyk mentioned it first :)

A while ago he did a series on Radio 4 which were like film scripts being narrated- brilliant.

[edit] I know it’s not visual but “The Californian Century” is still available on BBC Sounds.

New series of car sosage has had so far some nice motors, fiat uno turbo and this week manta gte, must say they do restore some real basket cases, the manta was rotten as pear, the standard of the restorations seems outstanding, especially all the metal work fabrication

Cheers Rod. I love talk radio. Always have done. If the writing and narration are good, my imagination
has no problem supplying the visuals ;) I will definitely check this out. I used to listen to Alistair Cooke's
Letter from America and when I stop to think about it, am amazed that such a simple concept worked so
well for so long.

The Boris Johnson saga is brilliant. It’s a clown fiasco……gripping stuff.
I suggest you watch it as the finale is today.

Wee Nicola Krankie in Scotland will be gutted as her best advert for independence will evaporate.

Wonder which mega corporation he’s gonna land a role in next…….

Im sure the WEF, Goldman or JPM will find a slot for a 2nd series.
