    whatever you do , avoid the YouTube video then. One <madman> starts the cutting of cambelt with angle grinder!!!!!

    can you cut the old belt in half ( along the length of course!) and slip on the new one. Cut across the old one and discard, pushing new one full into place. This was oft repeated technique on Fiat Coupe 20VT , where access was tight. (Sold car before it was due, but would have tried this)...

    so did you but it for £156 or did the magazine? Happy to buy Practical Classics to find out. Surely someone will take on the mega-miler if it survived that long trip? ( unless fire was terminal )
