When I reserved my room I was asked to call and confirm with card details about 2 weeks before which I’ve just done. I left a message to call me back and they did call a few minutes later. Presume everyone else is doing similar?

And all they had in the showroom was a Grecale!!! Very disappointing. All the parking area outside the front has been carpeted in Astro turf, so they park you just beyond the barrier. Been there, (again), bought an expensive T shirt, don’t think I’ll be going again soon.

Zep, can I recommend the Novotel in Colmar instead of Mulhouse. It’s only 3 years old, 200m from the centre which is beautiful, loads of restaurants and the hotel has an underground car park that doesn’t need planks of wood!

Thanks Rick, this trip‘s not for us but we are desperate to drive to Italy which we are going to do at roughly the same time so we may run into you all.

Beautiful place with a brand new Novotel about 200m from centre AND new underground secure parking!

We'll be taking the scenic route back visiting relatives in Colmar so we definitely won't need the transporter.

We can't wait either Rick. Our Italy trip has taken a lot of planning, chopping and changing but we're now good to go. Be good to meet up - albeit for just a short while. We're taking loads more pictures this time!
