3200 Rear Shock Absorbers

Hi Guys,

One of my rear shock absorbers is leaking and I need to replace it. (I will be replacing both of them).
Eurospares shows them as Special Order, does anyone know of an alternative to getting them from Maserati, they look like Bilstein to me?
My car has non-active suspension (ie not Skyhook)

Hi Ross,

When I had my mini I had some coil overs made to my spec with a company in Melksham Wiltshire called Protech. Whilst there I noticed they actually repair other brands of dampers as well as manufacturer there own. Might be worth a call?

Thanks for the thought Almichie, unfortunately I am in Australia :-(

Pretty sure as a last resort David Askew can re-engineer them. Shipping may be prohibitively expensive, though.

Yeah David can rebuild them on an exchange basis £130 each and he ships to Aus all the time.....

I got my replacements from David.

He sent the rebuilt ones out they were swapped over and I sent my old ones back - was really pleased with the service and fully recommend.

Bilstein Motorsport can recondition my shocks in Australia for A$320 (170 Pounds) a pair and I don't have wait to ship to the UK and back.
