Have a word with Terry from ireland. Somebody will pop up with his user name but he had the same problem at Le mans a couple of years ago. I think there is a thread on how his was fixed in the end somewhere.

Yes, Terry had a problem bleeding his clutch, the issue was that the piston in the master cylinder didn’t retract all the way and allow fluid in from the reservoir. Try pulling the clutch pedal up as high as possible and try again.

This....he had a nightmare in France and all he needed to do was as Zep and Terry says, pull the clutch pedal fully up each pump with your foot to allow the new fluid in.

Good luck.

Yes indeed I had to learn the hard way- but long enough ago now that I can have a laugh about it.

The guys are correct- you only need to pull the clutch pedal back 1mm to allow the fluid into the brake master cylinder and this has to be done on every pump of the pedal to draw the fluid through. Don't waste your money buying a new clutch pedal return spring- I purchase one and it made no difference as still have to physically pull the pedal back with my toe. Even when you have the job done its worth periodically giving the pedal a little pull back with your toe to keep the pedal firm.

All the hairy breast!!
