Has anybody converted their side lights to Zenons/HIDs?

I already have Zenon headlights, so just interested in options for the sidelights.

Never *seen* HID sidelights. Cant' really imagine it's a great idea. You can get white lights, but a very quick search shows many are not actually HID.

It'll look the part, I'm sure. Want to make sure you get the CANBUS ones or you will get bulb warnings everywhere. My personal feeling is that those will probably be too bright, but if that's your bag, it's up to you (MOT permitting)

For some reason LED indicator bulbs wouldn't work on my 3200 - only the nearside would flash irrespective of which bulb, holder and orientation combination I tried, so stuck with normal orange bulbs? White LED side lights with HIDs work fine with no dash warning lights and a nice crisp white look.

A good quality error free side light bulb would be good.
The standard sidelight yellow glow is so wrong with the HID headlights.

I'm keen Robert as agree with earlier post they will look much better than the current factory yellow bulbs. I've seen some for just a few pounds - would need to confirm which particular bulb fits...

Be aware that some of the LED bulbs are much longer that standard incandescent ones...check that the light unit has the extra room.

Count me in for the group buy. I really don't like the difference between the xenon headlights and the duller sidelights and main beam. If somebody can put together a full set of brighter/LED bulbs for front and back that would be great.

I'd go for indicators and sides. Less worried about brakes and the rest.

I replaced the OEM sidelight bulbs with these LEDs.
