Yes, the FHP is definitely worth having on the 575.
The mistake we made was having it fitted to the 550 (at quite some expense). The fact is that the 550 is great in its standard set-up, so doesn’t need playing about with. Whereas the basic 575 was not quite right, hence the upgrade option became (almost) compulsory.
But it can be retro fitted, so if looking to buy a 575, simply buy the one you like most, irrespective of whether it has the FHP or not (and fit it later if needs be).

Thanks Ewan.

Will ask a few Indy’s what the cost of the FHP will be as I didn’t realise it can still be retro fitted, as you can imagine anyone selling one without will always play down the FHP as is the case with car I am looking at.

550 - last five all sold north of 100k (euros?)
612 - many recent did not sell and at least two went for less than 100k
The market prefers the 500 according to glenmarch

612 was designed by the same person who did the QPV. But the 550 is more elegant to my eyes.
So as a practical car i would opt for QPV while for weekend special the 550.

Only two 599 offered last year with one sold £107,500
LJ57FUB failed to sell twice despite UK-supplied with carbon-ceramic brakes and 'Daytona' seats. just 24,800 miles and a service book with 12 stamps

Been tempted by the 612 myself for a while, but too many are black on black which is too much like my GS. The others are just £££ above what I want to pay and closer to DBS or Vanquish money.

The OTO is definitely a better drive than earlier cars, I drove a few early cars due to not wanting to pay too much but once I had test driven a OTO model it was pretty much game over for the earlier cars. Mine is grey but I do keep wishing I could buy the black one at Bramley now.

early car, later ones significantly better. Chalk and Cheese to drive, ask Mr Grace.....
Colours are personal but I love Nero Daytona and Crema on mine

So the 612 OTO (one to one) major difference is the 599 gearbox and clutch. Is the visual recognition glass roof + steering wheel manettino / start button? Thanks to Fchat

have you driven a DBS Peter? I was so underwhelmed! Gorgeous to look at but not at all special to drive.

not exactly. the change to gearbox, suspension, ecu, sports exhaust came for '07 build. OTO was '08 build and these had the manettino and glass roof plus all were bespoke orders. The '07 cars mostly came with the split rim 19s as per the blue car above. My '08 car did but I have replaced with OEM 20s normally seen on the OTOs.

You can easily buy a 599 for a price starting with an 8, rather than one over £100k. Cracking value at that level, with its V12 from the Enzo.

Of course, if you need back seats, it has to be the 612. But if you don't, my preference would be for a 550 if you want a manual car, or a 599 if you want flappy paddles.
