The news are pretty bad, the side trims are not to be found new I've been informed. Could anyone help me with this matter?

There's a guy on alfa-pages.co.uk called 33bits (Alex), he can help you. He'll direct you to where you can get new ones. Let me know if you get stuck.

Great job Ion the 33. By the way, how does it drive with 16" wheels?

So, long time since I've written here. I've found the side trims (except drivers door one). The car used to drive well on 16 inch and pilot exhalto 2 but at that time it had rubbish bushes and bad springs/shocks setup so I can give you a better review after the resto finishes. I'm pretty lazy to upload the photos so this is what I've done lately http://s1273.photobucket.com/user/andrei_popa3/library/Alfa 33 Permanent 4?sort=3&page=1

Welcome back sir! :) Loving your work, hope you have seen i am now back in the 33 clubs since you have last been on, stop giving me ideas!!! :)

So I've finished front and rear brakes and full suspensions, I was lucky enough to have a summer rain so I washed the 1 year old painted car for the first time (it was really dusty after 1 year). Those are my upgraded brakes by the way ...

Thanks a lot! I have a question, looking at photos 4 and 5 , doesn't it seem strange to you the position of the spring/shock absorber on one of the sides?

Well now that I think about it, the springs are exactly the same on each side, so there must be something in "mirror", in this case the supports. I would really like if any of you could take a look on your car and tell me if its ok XD

I use to have a P4 years ago, and the suspension should be a mirror image on the front - something looks wrong, almost as if it is 180 degree out of position

I haven't written anything here for a while, the car has done 2500 km since I've finished it (1 month). There are things I still have to adjust but overall I'm happy with it. I will post some photos soon. I'm curios about one thing though, I have 3 AFM's and one of them is a bit different, they all have the same bosch part number but there is another number on the AFM, 2 of them have 015 and the 3rd 905. The one with 905 also has a whole in the flap and I'm suspecting that that one is for non-cat version, anyone with a non cat 33 that could confirm?

Good question. The hole in the air flap is only a very small one, maybe 2mm? That hole has no reference to the 3 digit number stamped onto the body. I've got AFM's here with holes in some & the numbers don't tally up with the hole. (If that makes sense). The only reference I can find to that hole is that at some point along the production line a different flap was used from a different supplier & they had a hole in????? It wasn't a Bosch choice. My 16v 33 doesn't have a cat & I have a hole in my flap! (No joke intended there). Hope this is of some help.
