Sorry I’m a bit lost and google isn’t helping. QF (cloverleaf) is the fast one. So what’s different about a QV which also seems to be the fast one?
The QV is the Quadrofoglio Verde, the 2.9 V6 rocket. @dem maser car is (chipped to 324bhp??) 280bhp 2.0 Petrol Veloce I presume. They’re plenty quick enough, good fuel economy, more compliant suspension, smaller wheels as standard, so better ride quality, and it’s a lovely creamy engine too. They’re gorgeous to look at as well, tried to convince Mrs Grace to have one as our run about but she isn’t as much of a fan as I am.

Yes Celtic Tuning have worked their magic but 280bhp standard is quick enough

They’re some car but there must be a deal to be had. There are 70 Veloce 280bhp cars from 17-19 reg for sale between £19500 & £22500 on Autotrader today. £16k in October and they’re a fantastic value daily.

Thing that confused me was nowhere could I find Alfa referring to it as “Verde” the website says “Quadrofoglio”. I’m with your Mrs I don’t think they’re as nice inside as my old 147. They seem a bit cheap.

The one I drove was fairly new and felt fine but the Stelvio disappointed me a little re interior plastics etc. But I’m fortunate that I’m in a Maserati most days so it’s bound to feel somewhat downmarket. You’re right re Quadrifoglio (I always incorrectly spell that with an ‘o’ too) it didn’t have ‘Verde’ suffixed on this version by the look of it, but most historically have done.

I feel I should apologise before I say this as it’s somewhat wrong for an Alfa. I like the Giulia in silver ;)

Found a QV on my rear bumper on my run home when off the M1 Cross Country this afternoon. Was in my M140i.
Couldn't shake him.
Past me when I was slowing down as a good boy into a 40, sounded epic.
WANT!!

Harlow to Enfield is a short drive, pop over some time or we meet at tomorrow’s pub location as there are some lovely roads there

I know of 4 people who have had, or still have a guilia veloce. Every one of them say it’s the best driving car they’ve ever had. And some of them have had some pretty nice, what you would think were much more sports orientated cars.
As an everyday road car they do make more sense than a Quadrifoglio as they are plenty fast enough. Depends how sensible you are though, the veloce doesn’t have a 500bhp V6!
