I was looking at prices of V6 GTVs and they are around 3k ish but those that have low miles go for 6k.....

I was seeing how much a good one goes for when i saw this....

I know its expensive i was trying to point out that low milers take the ****!!

I saw one last week for sale and it had 50k going for 7k!!
Mine had 34k and i sold for 4500k, mug!!

My 62k one went for just under 4k....WHich for me is about right......Suppose if you want the best low miles car then maybe someone will pay it............Suppose there will come a time when these cars will go up in price and become collectable....As good ones become harder to find........A while yet though..

Maybe some mug will come along and pay it, they occasionally do - plenty of overpriced Masers get sold with a good bit of sales patter allied to lack of reasearch on the part of the buyer.

The trouble is you wouldn't be able to use it as the over inflated value is based on the lowish miles. I doubt it will ever be worth much more and your money is tied up in it until you can find another mug to sell it to years down the line.

I dont have a problem with 100k on the V6 as they reliable....

They are Dem...Never had an issue with any of the V6 engines I've had....It is one of the all time greats for looks and sound...

Amazingoy enough i saw one in enfield yesterday (i have seen 1 or 2 in the last few years, they are rare) and it gave it some welly with an e46 M3 chaising it and i laughed and thought of you....
The GTV was silver and the M3 was estoril blue.....what a noise both cars made....

Now you have owned both so i want to ask you, which car made the better sound??

Hard one Dem...My GTV had a sports exhaust so added noise.....The GTV sounded good on start up with the exhasue where as the M3 sounds better when giving it some..............Two very different sounds but I think i prefer the M3 sound when giving it some as it's engine not a trick exhaust......Both sound great though......

Had standard exhaust on mine and loved it....it snorted like a pig....
