Hi

I need to replace my front tyres due to uneven wear.

I fancy matching all four corners most likely with
vredestein ultrac vorti+, so my part worn rears would be available.

I know there is availability issues with Michelin so asking to see if anyone would be interested.

Michelin pilot super sport - not measured depth but would say 5mm (see pic) if any interest I will get them measured properly.

No known damage or repairs - located Hemel Hempstead.

Funnily enough, I'm very close to changing mine Sam, it got a bit squirrelly driving up in the monsoon before New Year. I think I have around 2mm left.
the issue I've found is that many garages do not like putting part worn tyres on wheels for fear of some come back.

My local guy will do it I am sure.

@midlifecrisis 2mm ! Change them asap, they are all that are keeping you from going into the back of someone - or into a kid stepping into the road whilst on insta-chat or whatever.

New tyres fitted today and as it’s impossible to get Mitchelins, I went with the vredestein ultrac vorti. I have put vredesteins on my V12 DB7 and then my 2010 Granturismo MC and one of my past XJ,s and alway been very happy.

They did a 4 wheel alignment (adjusting the toe in to .0 ) but it’s likely I will go to WiM at some point for a more experienced set up.

The rears have 4.5mm even wear, no repairs and Martin has said he wants them, so that will keep him in the road with matching front & rear.

Have Vortis on my 4200.
They are very good value for money and classed as a mid range tyre, not a premium like Michelin tyres.
Probably not quite as good as the Michelin but feel more premium than mid range in my opinion.

Definitely intrigued by the Vredesteins, but zero retailers here...have to put new tyres on the GS repro 19s I ordered for the Coupe, which will then allow me to swap the good Michelin Pilots in 18" to the Spyder...which tyres are dry rotted.

tire lab (for what it’s worth) rate them as premium, but yes they do not out perform Michelins, but in real world overall ratings are not materially different.

Oh, and you can’t get Michelins.

Mrs C has Quatracs I think on her Giulietta. Certainly had them on the 147. Ditto on my Jaaaaag. Liked them a lot

4 new all round plus fitting and 4 wheel alignment is £1024
