So Maserati is a premium brand, I think we all agree.

When you drive one people might think you've got a few quid.... But do we really?

It's just a bit of fun on a Friday night, your vote will not be submitted to HMRC

Not even close. Never been one for a big house or trappings. I'm lucky enough to earn more than some, but I buy stuff and enjoy life. I hate having money in the bank seems such a waste lol.
I have enough to be comfortable in the lifestyle I enjoy, that will do for me.

If her indoors sold all her property in Nice and Menton we all could be very rich over night..
Trouble is its all going to the grandchildren. I might just about get a new Jeep out of it!
Be warned!

You told me Zhara’s not for sale, Crofty. Have you changed your mind?

Wealth isn’t just about money though is it? I know people that have plenty of money but are miserable and people who live on what they earn week to week but are generally happy. We both worked hard and moved up the housing ladder as we went along and accumulated decent pension funds. At 55 once the kids (4) where independent we where able to downsize and renovate a house exactly as we wanted it. Coupled with our pensions we live well and can travel ( when we’re able) run the cars we want. We’re still young enough to work if we want/need to and are happy with our lot so I think basically we’re wealthy.

We don't do this here in UK
Not our temperament.
I was shocked initially when Jacqueline insisted I visited her relatives in Greece.
Every time I stopped to fill up with petrol.
A crowd would form.
Very sweaty.

Q1. What do you earn?

Q2. How much is your house worth?

Q3. How much is your car worth?

Q4. How many sons do you have?

I have a very nice daughter. You can have her for 3 donkeys.

Took me a while and Jacquie assured me that it was their way of determining where you fitted.

You get a steel stare from me buddy

Put it this way, I doubt anyone here is going to a food bank in their Maser or if they are they ought to be front and centre of Channel 5's new series "Supercar Scroungers" who are the love child of Hitler and Diana.

Those that protest they are not wealthy, when in any subjective or absolute definition they are, shows why wealth merely motivates people to accrue more wealth thereby driving inequality... whilst belittling the poor for being poor because they don't work hard enough, they're feckless, they have too many kids, they drink too much, they smoke too much etc

I agree with all the above. Money does not ensure happiness. But, I’ve been poor and I’ve been rich and I know which I prefer.

I should add that I was happy when I was poor, and don’t consider myself a better person now that I’m not. Very proud of my humble beginnings and am often accused of having a chip on my shoulder when I openly despise public school types that believe they’re superior just because their parents made some money. But I’ve seen firsthand that they generally aren’t able to cope if they find themselves without money, but I know that I would be fine and so would my kids.

I live with the attitude that I started with nothing and achieved what I have because I worked hard and took risks so if I continue I should expect that I might end up with nothing.

Am I wrong to say that desirable and beauty are relative?
My QPV is very desirable to me, but probably not to the majority. On the other hand, a Rolex wristwatch leaves me cold, while obviously is very popular. Funnily they cost about the same these days.

No, not at all! But it’s not what Dan is asking.
