It's all systems go here nothing left to buy apart from some more booze,
depending on how big a dent I put in the supplies this weekend

Think so fella. I have a few bits to get from town (my first trip in as I have done it all online).

Got the xmas food shop on Friday, Turkey is a pick up job from the local farm shop just need to get the basics/veg and we are done.

Only me and the Mrs so I bought the meat two weeks ago and froze it

Corn fed chicken cos I'm not a fan of turkey, a ham that will be roasted with a whiskey and marmalade glaze and a shoulder of pork

Oh and home made chicken liver paté for starters

A recipe we do with a ham is stud it with cloves and slow boil it in full fat coke, don't knock it till you have tried it.

I have been trying to volunteer this Christmas day but there is a huge amount of people wanting to so it's a no go this year Maybe go to London next year and get something with a homelss charity, I don't mind peeling mountains of spuds or brussels!

We are having a 'picnic' type meal here, cheese profiterols, mini steak and ale pies, cold cuts, home made bread, cheeses, home made mini pizzas, home made cheesecake and christmas cake with cheese om nom nom
