On the second Bank Holiday in May (24th-26th), Bournemouth are holding the Wheels Festival.

I've emailed the organisers to see if we can have a spot close to the action with it being 100 years of Maserati and all that for the Sunday. I don't think anyone would want to do all three days. I'll might get a response tomorrow as to where there will put us, hopefully they will put us in the centre of it all but I've a feeling we may be up towards Boscombe pier in the Vehicle Pageant.

It's a free event and the link is below.

Let me know if you are interested in coming down.

Nothing heard as yet, but knowing emails building up over the weekend I bet the organiser's a bit snowed under. I'll let you all know when I know.

However, how many would come regardless?

Further to my last, I've had a reply from the organisers. There is a specific sea front area between the two piers (Boscombe and Bournemouth) which is close to the action of the Monster Truck Area. The area is designed so that owners of the Vehicle Pageant can turn up in the morning and drive away later in the day, a bit like the BIAMF, except there's a lot more action on, including a bloke who's going to jump over the pier. (It was only 20p to get on the pier last year!)

If you're thinking of coming down, PM me and I'll send you the email of the organisers and we can take it from there. At least you'll be able to park for free! If enough of us are coming down we might be able to persuade them to give get a spot in the main arena.

It's Dunsfold Supercars that weekend... the website for which says SportsMaserati forum are attending, though I've seen nothing on here... though I may have looked in the wrong places ;o)
So I can't make this unfortunately, but it sounds good...
