We are taking on another unit next door and have 3 places available for car storage in the Southampton area.

Cars will be stored and kept on trickle chargers and covered.

Please PM me if this is of interest.

Access 7 days per week with prior notice.

Don't get greedy.. I pay £15 a week for my old 3200GT, that includes secure storage with full insurance and dehumidification!

Mines £100.00 a month, and tbf I can’t fault the service. And it’s heated in winter. Fully serviced wash bay, hoovers, ramp available if you want underneath and a car nut mechanic on hand.

1 place gone, other 2 places have interest from another member (with too many cars) on a 3-6 month storage, now taking reserve list.

New 2 post lift available for occasion use too.

Definitely high demand for this sort of thing.

Blimey, all adds to the cost, but if you have no choice.
If you have any car away from home, the effort to get them compared to just opening the garage door and driving out must limit the usage some what.

It does a bit, but I still did 2000 miles last year.

Ok, we do still have 2 places available as distance was an issue for the person considering the 2 places.

Ill give you all a week then it gets offered out to the dancing donkey lot.

I also store cars if I have vacant spaces in new warehouse units,CTEK charge,2 post lift etc. with own digital key,so unlimited access. In 10 years I have never had any problems with clients. There are two key considerations for customers,1. How far away from home is the storage,2. The cost. I charge A$215 per month to store three cars, which is way lower than almost all the commercial outfits who rip off the customers. I store cars outside on the hard stand for free. Since I own the units I need only charge enough to pay the outgoings, which I think is fair. Most customers own expensive cars they really can't afford,so cost is a major consideration.

Was chatting to guy where I store mine yesterday. Took my idea onboard and is installing double lifts. He now has 97 cars there @£100 a month, asked me if I wanted to buy a car storage business as he’s too busy with his other businesses.....

So, £100k a year for babysitting some cars. Easy work, if not particularly mentally stimulating.
