hi guys, i know some of you met my friend with the F430 spyder (lambo pj man) at ace a few years ago......
i always loved his grey with red leather combo but he sold that car ages ago and has since got an R8 and then an X6 but anyway reason im posting this is today i saw one on the road and it looked gorgeous....

one of the best ferraris for some time, and also they have started dropping in price.....
a good coupe is 60k..............

so what will it be?? a GTS or a F430 spyder??

My mate Adam who had the GTS had a 430 Coupe before his Maserati. He sold the Maserati about a month ago and has gone back to the 430, but this time a Spyder, he love it.

Mind you, he had nothing to say but compliments about the GTS.

For me Dem GTS..The 430 spyder styling has never sat right with me I'm afraid...There is a red one in Chepstow and it just doesn't move me............Can not believe there is a car we don't agree on Dem..Its a first.

That is a rare colour on the V8 of any sort Andy! Lightning silver is a DBS colour, special order for the V8. Looks great!

F430 spyder is a future car for me, I did the toss up between it and the DB9 Volante as budget could have been either. On a mountain pass, empty twisting road, F1 gearbox shifts, high revs, carbon brakes slammed on, Larini blaring out the back, nothing would be better. But for the other 99.999% of my driving life the car I bought is better for me and will make a damned good stab of that mountain pass as well.

Another thing is the looks you get... you mention it above Dem. I don't like those looks to be honest, they are rarely admiration or support, more jealousy, and jealousy leads to bad things (coming over all Yoda now). If I can ever have one, and I would deeply love one, it will be black or TDF blue, red or yellow is a no-no. Too much of the wrong attention.

360 Modena is as good a car for mere mortals like us and a decent Spyder now is £35k. That's a real bargain.

Lewis, Lightening silver was first used on the N400 and was a standard colour...The N400 was available in 3 colours....... Bergwerk Black, Karussell Orange and Lightening silver..First two named after corners at the ring...Most were black......

Have to agree there Lewis sensible words spoken , would love a 430 spider but a short fleeting daliance with a 360 spider would be just fine

Of course its nice.........out of your automotive for it not to be nice, desirable, the peak of fabulousness.........!!!

But everyday day car...........as Lewis says...................the begrudgers in this country would have you freting about it every time you took it out.

Fine car.................but...............

V8 Vantage, would never buy one, pretty on the outside but the interior, oh deary me, lets start with the dash board, dont like the ford switches, the volvo sat nav, things like that annoy me, 90k car that shares stuff with run of the mill cars. Oh and not forgetting the Volvo key either. Seats, sat ina few Aston's and i dont think the quality of the leather is that good, creases cery easily and feels a little ”plastic” IMO, also the steering wheel looks like it was from a Vauxhall Cavallier with that huge centre for the air bag. Porsche make the best interiors by a mile IMO.

Adam, thats odd you saw you don't like the interior...Regarded of one of the best looking interiors and one that feels very special when sat in......Me I love it..The one I went on had brilliant built quality and had a very expensive air to it.....Made you feel very special indead.....
